TPO Unveils Two-inch QVGA LTPS Panels for Mobile Devices

On July 4, Taiwanese leading display panel maker TPO announced that it has developed two-inch QVGA (Quarter Video Graphics Array) panels for use in mobile phones and mobile devices. This new 0.95 mm thick panel, which is the world's thinnest model, leverages LTPS (Low Temperature Poly-Silicon) technology for high screen visibility in sunlight and is slated to kick off mass production in 2008.
